Frequently Asked Questions

Will I get one image per page of my PDF?

Yes. Each page of your PDF is rendered as a separate JPG image. If your PDF has 10 pages, you will receive 10 JPG files, packaged together in a ZIP archive.

What resolution are the output JPG images?

Pages are rendered at 150 DPI, which produces sharp, clear images suitable for screen viewing, sharing, and most everyday use. If you need higher-resolution output for print, keep this in mind before relying on the JPGs for large-format printing.

Will converting PDF to JPG reduce the image quality?

JPG is a lossy format, so a small amount of compression is applied. The output is rendered directly from the PDF at a resolution built for clarity, so quality loss is minimal for normal viewing purposes.

Do I get a single file or a ZIP archive?

You always receive a ZIP archive containing one JPG per page, even if your PDF only has a single page. This keeps the download consistent regardless of how many pages you convert.

Is PDF to JPG conversion free?

Yes, fully free, with no watermarks added to the images, no account needed, and no usage restrictions.

Is my PDF secure when I upload it for conversion?

Yes. Your file is encrypted during upload using HTTPS, processed on our servers, and permanently deleted shortly after. We do not access the content of your documents.

Can password-protected PDFs be converted to JPG?

Password-protected or encrypted PDFs cannot currently be converted directly. Remove the password first using an unlock tool, then convert the resulting file to JPG.
