Frequently Asked Questions

Will my page look the same in the PDF as it does in a browser?

In most cases, yes. Standard HTML and CSS, including layout, fonts, colors, and images, are rendered as they would appear in a browser. Pages that rely on JavaScript to load content after the initial render may not capture everything, since the conversion works from the page's HTML and styles.

Can I convert a live website by entering its URL?

Yes. Paste the full web address of any public page and we will fetch and convert it directly, no need to save or upload the HTML yourself.

Can I upload my own HTML file instead of a URL?

Yes. If you have a local .html file, including ones with linked CSS or images, you can upload it directly and we will convert it to PDF the same way.

Does the tool support password-protected or private pages?

No. Since conversion is done by fetching the public page, pages that require a login or are behind a paywall cannot be converted directly. Save the page as an HTML file first and upload it instead.

Is it safe to convert pages that contain personal information?

Yes. All uploads and conversions happen over an encrypted connection, and both the source file and the resulting PDF are automatically deleted from our servers after processing.

Is HTML to PDF really free to use?

Yes. There is no cost, no subscription, and no account required. Convert as many pages or files as you need.

Can I convert HTML to PDF on my phone?

Yes, the tool is fully responsive and works in any modern mobile browser on iOS and Android.

Why does a page with lots of images take longer to convert?

Pages with many high-resolution images or external resources take a little longer to fetch and render before the PDF can be generated. Most conversions still complete within a few seconds.
